Harris HR Managing Director, Theresa Pruvost was delighted to speak at ‘The Big Leap’ - an event for women scaling up their business – on Wednesday 5th June 2019.
Chris Lyle of NatWest Bank and Business Mentor, Karen Burge collaborated to bring together a morning of speakers looking at various aspects you consider when scaling up your business.
The event was held at Cisswood House Hotel in Lower Beeding near Horsham and other speakers included Islay O'Hara - Public Relations Consultant; Gillian Palmer who runs the very successful business - Lending Made Simple; as well as business adviser Sandra Murphy.
Theresa says, “The event was a huge success and the turnout was fantastic! It gave me the opportunity to speak to employers about their obligations when taking on employees for the first time and to give more detailed information to employers who are thinking of scaling up.”
Theresa goes on to say, “Delegates had lots of interesting questions for me, which I was really happy to answer; plus it was free for them to attend, which is always a bonus. Hopefully Chris and Karen will organise another similar event soon."
